Sungpyo

Hey there—I’m an art director, graphic designer, and illustrator based in NYC, originally from Seoul and a graduate of SVA. I’ve worked with forward-thinking brands and creatives to craft visuals rooted in story and distinct aesthetics. Along the way, my work has been featured at the Emmys, recognized by the ADC, and published in The New York Times.

From design to diverse visual languages, I’m always exploring what’s next—ideas that feel fresh, future-facing, and deeply human.

Take a look at my work below—and if it resonates, let’s connect and create something meaningful.
Connecting 50 Years of Pride
Campaign Identity for Airbnb

Created for WorldPride and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, Connecting 50 Years of Pride was a global campaign by Airbnb celebrating the legacy, voices, and future of the LGBTQ+ community.

Teaming up with Art Camp, Cash Studio, and the Airbnb team, I designed the campaign identity—developing large-scale posters, outdoor advertisements, and a campaign website that brought visibility and energy to the streets and screens of NYC. The visual system celebrated diversity through bold typography, vibrant gradients, and storytelling-driven layouts that honored both individual pride and collective history, while reflecting the spirit of the community it represents.
