Sungpyo

Hey there—I’m an art director, designer, and illustrator based in NYC, originally from Seoul and a graduate of SVA. I collaborate with brands and creatives to craft visuals that are clear, story-driven, and visually resonant.

My work has been featured at the Emmys, recognized by the ADC, and published in The New York Times— milestones that continue to shape my practice.

I’m drawn to design that feels effortless on the surface yet layered with intention underneath. Always curious about what’s next, I explore visual languages that are fresh, forward-looking, and human at their core.

Take a look at my work—and if it speaks to you, let’s connect and create something meaningful together.

Connecting 50 Years of Pride
Campaign Identity | Airbnb

Created for WorldPride and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, the campaign celebrated both legacy and future within the LGBTQ+ community. It extended across digital platforms, posters, outdoor ads, and custom-designed props—transforming public spaces and the event venue into a living expression of Pride.

I teamed up with Art Camp, Cash Studio, and Airbnb’s team to develop the identity system—balancing bold typography, radiant gradients, and storytelling-driven compositions to amplify visibility and energy across New York City.
