Sungpyo

Hey there—I’m an art director, designer, and illustrator based in NYC, originally from Seoul and a graduate of SVA. I collaborate with brands and creatives to craft visuals that are clear, story-driven, and visually resonant.

My work has been featured at the Emmys, recognized by the ADC, and published in The New York Times— milestones that continue to shape my practice.

I’m drawn to design that feels effortless on the surface yet layered with intention underneath. Always curious about what’s next, I explore visual languages that are fresh, forward-looking, and human at their core.

Take a look at my work—and if it speaks to you, let’s connect and create something meaningful together.

Edge of Order
Book Design

Edge of Order, a monograph by architect Daniel Libeskind, explores his architectural process through both built and conceptual works.

I worked on shaping the book’s visual identity, translating his deconstructivist philosophy into print with layered textures, angular forms, and bold contrasts that echo the dynamism of his architecture.
