Sungpyo

Hey there—I’m an art director, graphic designer, and illustrator based in NYC, originally from Seoul and a graduate of SVA. I’ve worked with forward-thinking brands and creatives to craft visuals rooted in story and distinct aesthetics. Along the way, my work has been featured at the Emmys, recognized by the ADC, and published in The New York Times.

From design to diverse visual languages, I’m always exploring what’s next—ideas that feel fresh, future-facing, and deeply human.

Take a look at my work below—and if it resonates, let’s connect and create something meaningful.
Small Town Secret
Show Graphics for Vice

Small Town Secret is a longform investigative episode uncovering systemic abuse and cover-ups within a close-knit rural community—revealing how silence and power can intertwine over generations.

I led the graphic design for the episode, creating the title sequence, custom maps, and a range of show graphics to support the storytelling. From visualizing geography and timelines to setting the tone through typography and pacing, my work guided viewers through a complex narrative with both clarity and emotional weight.
