Sungpyo

Hey there—I’m an art director, graphic designer, and illustrator based in NYC, originally from Seoul and a graduate of SVA. I’ve worked with forward-thinking brands and creatives to craft visuals rooted in story and distinct aesthetics. Along the way, my work has been featured at the Emmys, recognized by the ADC, and published in The New York Times.

From design to diverse visual languages, I’m always exploring what’s next—ideas that feel fresh, future-facing, and deeply human.

Take a look at my work below—and if it resonates, let’s connect and create something meaningful.
Sneakers
Book Design

Sneakers is a deep dive into the global culture, design legacy, and creative minds behind the world’s most iconic footwear. Blending interviews, original artwork, and photography, it presents a richly layered narrative of style, identity, and innovation.

As part of the design team, I contributed to the visual development of individual chapters—shaping each section to reflect the unique personality and creative vision of the featured designers. This approach created a dynamic reading experience that mirrors the rhythm, energy, and cultural depth of sneaker history.
