Hey there—I’m an art director, graphic designer, and illustrator based in NYC, originally from Seoul and a graduate of SVA. I’ve worked with forward-thinking brands and creatives to craft visuals rooted in story and distinct aesthetics. Vilcek Prizes
Trophy & Certificate Design

The Vilcek Prizes celebrate immigrant contributions to the arts and sciences. For the 2020 awards, I designed the trophies and certificates in collaboration with Art Camp and DesignBox, building on the original concept by Stefan Sagmeister.

Working within his creative framework, I reinterpreted the design for that year’s honorees—bringing clarity, tactility, and symbolic weight to the final pieces. The result was a cohesive visual system that honored the prize’s legacy while giving it a fresh, contemporary form.
